The brief of the project is as follows,

The site was located in the rural area of a kithulgala village & there is no comfortable access road to reach the site premises. Most of the materials had to be transported to the site by head delivery.

We had to mainly do the balance RCC structures of all sections such as the intake tank, penstock supports & anchors. Also construction of a new fore bay tank & Surge tank was completed. The extension to the existing power house was done by us including foundation improvement & roof extension.

The hardest part of the work here was the pipe work. Because of that, it is very difficult to reach the places where the pipes are laid out and all the raw materials had to be pulled on human shoulders.
